The North American British Music Studies Association

Byron Adams Student Travel Grant

To make its biennial conference accessible to as many students as possible, the North American British Music Studies Association (NABMSA) will offer one or more travel grants to doctoral-level students who are giving a paper at the biennial NABMSA conference. The grant, which cannot exceed $500, will offset travel, lodging, and registration expenses. No applicant may receive a grant from the Association for two consecutive meetings. If more than one worthy candidate exists, then multiple awards may be given during each award cycle, but the total amount awarded will not exceed $1500 biennially.

Eligibility

NABMSA members in good standing who are enrolled in a doctoral-level program and have not defended their dissertation/thesis at the time of their paper being accepted for presentation at the biennial conference.

Submissions

When this prize becomes available, a call for submissions will go out with the announcement of each biennial conference.
